I was planning of doing it this way, as it seems to be the cheapest method for traveling from Lithuania: fly to Milano > rent a car > go wherever I've chosen to stay. The problem is, getting there by train would be a pain in the ass (at least, I expect it to be), since most of the cheap accommodations (and beautiful villages) are based far away from any train stations, so renting out a car would be the smartest and most comfortable option. The problem is, it seems that there are no companies that would rent out a car to a driver with less than 1 year of driving experience, which is reasonable, I suppose. Perhaps you know if it is possible to rent out a car with less experience? By that time I will have around 8 months of experience.
